The first Monday in May has officially arrived, and celebs have pulled out all the stops for fashion’s biggest night out. The Met Gala’s RSVP list is always decked out with big names and we’re happy to see a slew of red carpet favorites make their return to the fabulous event, but one of Hollywood’s most famous siblings didn’t make an appearance at the Metropolitan Museum of Art — Khloé Kardashian surprisingly did not attend the 2023 Met Gala.
There’s a chance that the middle Kardashian sibling skipped the Met Gala because of a prior commitment to one of her two kids, True (5) and her new baby boy (8 months) born via surrogate. Khloé and Tristan Thompson still co-parent their children despite their breakup, and rumor has it that the NBA player reportedly hopes to reconcile his relationship with her.
The other possibility is that Khloé did not attend because she was not invited back to the Met Gala this year.
The reality TV star attended for the first time last year along with Kim, Kourtney (also a first-time attendee), Kylie, Kendall, and Kris. The family made waves for attending en mᴀsse in 2022, but rumors began to swirl in early 2023 about their invites being rescinded when Page Six reported that the family was cut from the guest list. The news outlet later posted a follow-up clarifying that sources said Kim Kardashian and another unnamed family member would still be invited. Kendall and Kylie Jenner both ended up attending.
We definitely missed seeing Khloé, since her red carpet outfits always slay, but there’s always next year!
