While her sisters tend to volley between super dark brunette and platinum, Khloé Kardashian has been the resident honey blonde in her family for quite some time now, and it’s easy to see why. She truly looks like she was born wear her hair this color, no matter how she styles it: sleek and straight, corkscrew-curly, and everything in-between. And speaking of in-between, one of her latest looks is simultaneously the most natural-looking and yet clearly impeccably styled beach waves we’ve ever seen.
In a pH๏τo Kardashian posted to Instagram, her super-long hair looks not totally wet, not totally dry — anyone with natural waves may recognize it as the point of no return, where it’s a little too late to start a blowout. But why would anyone blow out this look when each tendril is so perfectly sculpted, so flawlessly formed? 
“We were going for a fresh-out-of-the-ocean glam vibe,” explains stylist Andrew Fitzsimons, who tells Allure the pH๏τo was taken during a recent shoot in Malibu.
Want to get the look yourself? Fitzsimons says he prepped Kardashian’s hair with his own brand’s Model Volume Wave Spray to enhance its natural texture. “From there, you can take your hair in small sections and enhance the waves with a curling iron or flat iron,” he says, which he did while applying a generous amount of Fantasy Curls Nourishing Serum to enhance separation and add a waterless wet look. 
“You can twist the sections closest to the front to create face-framing pieces that almost look like a braid that came undone,” Fitzsimons says. “This is such a cute style for summer parties — it’s casual but high-fashion all at once.”
