Behind the Scenes with Candice Swanepoel at the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show
01, Arriving at Earl’s Court for the Show
“When I first start modeling I moved to London and I was only 15 years old, so I have many amazing memories of living here in my early days,” she tells InStyle. “I’m really excited for the show to be here this year because English people are a little bit naughty–so it’ll be a really fun crowd!”
2, Pump Up the Volume
“No words can explain backstage,” jokes a playful Swanepoel as she hams it up for the camera. “I love that we get to dress up in stuff we would never actually get to wear.”
3, the signature vs kiss
“I think this is becoming a fashion show tradition,” captions Swanepoel as she blows a kiss to the camera.

Backstage, she takes a moment to take in all the craziness before finishing hair and makeup. “There’s a lot of hype and anxiety that morning before the show begins, so we’re always just trying to keep it all together!”
8, Strike a Pose
After rocking three looks in the show, Swanepoel did a quick change into a gown before heading to the after-party. “Love being able to share this with my African bestie,” she says. What’s the first thing she does after the show? “I drink a beer and eat a burger. I just let loose and let all the wave of the craziness set in and pᴀss by.”
