Lily Aldridge debuted a textured boyfriend bob at the Oscars after party

This lightly tousled cut is all the hair inspiration we need this award season

The return of the Oscars put us in high anticipation for stand-out hair moments, from intricate architectural up-dos to elegant old-Hollywood side partings. However, within the sea of ever-glamorous beauty looks showcased on last night’s red carpet, from ethereal waves via Hunter Schafer and Jessica Chastain to dainty bows sported by Florence Pugh and Vanessa Hudgens, one chic hair move was so simple it cut through the noise: Lily Aldridge’s brand new textured boyfriend bob.

The American model debuted her effortless new chin-grazing cut at last night’s Oscars Vanity Fair after-party, with hairstylist Jacob Rozenberg opting for an undone textured wave and symmetrical centre part for Aldridge’s sophisticated final look. Simple yet effective, her fresh cut is in-keeping with the ever cool boyfriend bob trend, which was brought back into the spotlight by Hailey Bieber earlier this year. Bieber herself also attended the after-party with her own honey-glazed locks styled in a similarly chic, loosely curved ‘do.

In terms of Aldridge’s monochromatic make-up look, the model paired a warm ɴuᴅᴇ hue across her lips and cheeks and a naturally bushy brow, skipping over the need for bold lipstick shades and exaggerated eye make-up. Make-up artist Hung Vanngo, responsible for creating her look, used a host of Westman Atelier products including the versatile Les Nude Lip Palette and covetable Baby Cheeks Blush Stick in the shade Petal to ᴀssemble her au natural pretty flush. The ’90s-leaning look worked perfectly with her minimal hairstyle.

Aldridge’s after-party glamour was worn with a show-stopping vinyl wet look from Balmain’s autumn/winter 2023 collection; a striking contrast to her otherwise pared-back look. Take note for your next big event.
