LILY ALDRIDGE JUST WORE THE SWEETEST CANDY PINK EYELINER

A saccharine dream of a different kind, discover the tricks to Lily’s candy eye makeup right here

The last 12 months have been replete with bold makeup looks, from technicolour eyes to saturated lips. At Jeremy Scott’s Spring/Summer show in New York City, Lily Aldridge walked the runway in neon blue liner – a bold look for the model who typically favours neutral Earthy tones or a classic red lip. But overnight in New York City, Aldridge stepped out wearing a slice of candy pink eyeliner across her lid and matching iridescent shadow. Bold, maximalist and perfect for holiday parties. See the breakdown below.

Makeup artist Hung Vanngo is the man behind the makeup, unsurprisingly so, given he is the unofficial master of colour and texture as far as beauty is concerned. According to his Instagram, the eye is a mix of Huda Beauty Neon Obsessions Palette in Neon Orange, Rituel de Fille Crystalline Matter Eye Soot in Rosea Aurum (currently sold out) and UZ Beauty Eye Opening Liner in Burgundy Obsession (not available in Australia).

To build out a similar look, use a fluffy brush to buff in a pale pink shimmer over the entirety of the lid, as well as the bottom lash line. Finish with a swipe of bright pink liquid liner. For added impact, dust a translucent glitter over the top. Add pink lips and a swirl of candy blush, and you’re as good as Lily.
