KRIS Jenner has been dragged by fans for her simple post about her daughter Kourtney’s pregnancy.
The Kardashian-Jenner matriarch shared a video on her Instagram Stories of Kourtney’s sweet announcement on Sunday morning.
However, fans weren’t pleased with Kris’s effort in the post, which only included a handful of red-heart emojis above the clip.
They expressed their frustrations on a popular Keeping Up With the Kardashians message board after one person pointed out the belated post.
Along with a snapsH๏τ of Kris’ Story, the user wrote: “Kris finally did the bare minimum.”
They also noted: “No kind words or well wishes and 24hrs after everyone else has commented… she couldn’t have half a**ed this more if she tried.”
Others had similar thoughts in the comments as someone else said: “Damn, where’s the infamous Kris Jenner tears.”
Another remarked: “Damn… no paragraph.”
And a third added: “Didn’t Kris also just share like four-story posts for Scott’s bday?” referencing the 67-year-old momager’s recent tribute to Kourtney’s baby daddy Scott Disick for his special day.
Kourtney’s sisters, Kim, 42, and Khloe, 38, shared their excitement for her pregnancy on their pages hours earlier.
“Congrats!!! We’re having a Kravis baby!!!” the Skims founder was the first to write.
She also added three happy-crying faces, three white hearts, and three pregnant women emojis.
Khloe soon followed suit, gushing: “My baby is having a baby!!!!!!!! I love you and baby soooooo much.”
But Kourtney’s other siblings, Kendall, 26, Kylie, 25, and Rob, 36, have yet to comment on the good news as of Sunday morning.
SILENT SIBLINGS
Fans theorized that the rest of the family hadn’t acknowledged Kourtney’s big reveal because they weren’t aware of her pregnancy to begin with.
“What if this is how they found out?” one person wondered in an online thread.
“Should we take bets on this being a storyline next season? They are currently filming,” another replied, mentioning the family’s reality series, The Kardashians.
“I do think it’s kinda weird. Not even leaving a lil comment under her post?” chimed in a third.
“I feel so sad for Kourt. This says a lot about her relationship with her family—estranged for the most part (only seeing each other when filming most likely) and complicated. I’m glad she has a husband who genuinely loves her and her children/stepchildren who love her as well.”
“Btw, I bet Kris, Kim, and Khloe are seething that Kourtney did the pregnancy announcement her way instead of on some special Hulu episode,” a final added.
Fans recently praised Kourtney, 44, for the unique way she announced her pregnancy, which differed from her sisters, who have often used their TV shows to share big life events.
BABY ON THE WAY
The Poosh founder shared the news with her husband, Travis Barker, 47, and the rest of the world on Friday night at a Blink-182 concert in Los Angeles.
Travis is the drummer of the rock band, and Kourtney has frequented many of his shows while they’re on tour.
She interrupted the gig by holding a sign that read, “Travis I’m Pregnant” – a nod to the band’s iconic video for their song, All The Small Things, which featured an attractive groupie holding up a similar sign while rocking out to the music.
Lead singer Mark Hoppus informed fans of what was happening and went to congratulate Kourtney.
A stunned Travis also left his drum set to embrace his wife, standing in front of the stage.
The happy couple has been open about their struggles to conceive a child – something Kourtney even vocalized to her mother during a previous episode of The Kardashians.
They were undergoing the IVF process; however, an insider revealed to The U.S. Sun in December 2022 that they “took a break” despite “still trying” to have a baby.
Kourtney is also a mom to sons Mason, 13, and Reign, eight, and a daughter Penelope, 10, with her ex, Scott, 40.
Meanwhile, Travis shares two teenagers: Landon, 19, and Alabama, 17, with his ex-wife, Shanna Moakler, 47.
