Throughout her career, model Candice Swanepoel has walked her fair share of runways. From Victoria’s Secret to the high-end shows of every international fashion week, there is hardly a catwalk the South African stunner hasn’t completely slain. Well, with the exception of one.
In a recent interview with People, Swanepoel was asked to recount the time she “face-planted pretty hard” at the Givenchy SS16 presentation last September—her “most embarrᴀssing runway moment…for sure.”
While the 27-year-old bride-to-be would rather erase the memory of her misstep (“Thanks for reminding me!” she joked), she should know that it’s her epic recovery that still stands out most. 
Otherwise, You know that Victoria’s Secret model who once wore the Fantasy Bra and created huge momentum in it? Yeah, that’s the ever-so fabulous Candice Swanepoel whose dreamy blonde hair, pouty lips and hourglᴀss figure have made her a gorgeous supermodel and an even better mother of two children.
Born in South Africa, the supermodel was first spotted at the tender age of 15 and grew to be an iconic figure in the fashion industry. She walked the runways for the world’s biggest brands, from Fendi to Bottega Veneta, Versace Dolce & Gabbana, Dior, Elie Saab – amongst others – has fronted many magazine covers and has been featured in many advertising campaigns for Tom Ford, Miu Miu, Ralph Lauren and so many more.
But most importantly, the model officially became a Victoria’s Secret Angel back in 2010, strutting her good looks in over-the-top lingerie and hence wearing the Royal Fantasy Bra created by Mouawad in 2013.
