The pandemic has been a wild time for all of us and after staying indoors for so long, it’s been tough to bring ourselves to don a flashy outfit and hit the town. One celebrity that had no shame talking about the countless lockdown days lounging in sweats was Alexandra Daddario. But things have changed for The White Lotus star. Today, she took to Instagram to show a few pics of herself dressed to the nines and ready to face the cameras of Hollywood once more.
In the pH๏τo series, Alexandra Daddario is decked out in a sparkly, light green and blue, revealing jacket with emerald green short shorts to match. In two of the three pH๏τos, she holds a pair of pink, furry high heels, grasping a drink in her other hand. Showing a little skin and serving her best smoldering look for the camera, it looks like the actress is ready to step out from her home and take the red carpet by storm.
During a recent interview with Forbes, Alexandra Daddario said that she “took advantage” of the relaxed style that spawned from the COVID lockdown and that because of this she has enjoyed getting dolled up even more than before. She also commented that her new outlook on getting glammed up with makeup teams and putting on designer clothes “feels like such a gift.” But make no mistake. Daddario says she’s still most comfortable when she’s in a tee-shirt and jeans. The star commented that her favorite feeling was getting dressed up and spending time with the family and friends closest to her with a Grey Goose martini in hand.
Most recently (and possibly best) known for her time on HBO’s breakout hit, The White Lotus, Alexandra Daddario has had a long running career in film and television. The actress got her start during the Percy Jackson film franchise and has appeared in a wide array of feature films including Texas Chainsaw 3D, Baywatch, and San Andreas. Along with her many film credits, the fashionista star has also nabbed guest starring roles in television shows such as True Detective, It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia, New Girl, and American Horror Story: Hotel. Additionally, Daddario appeared as the leading lady in the music video, “Radioactive,” for pop megastars, Imagine Dragons.
With things coming back to a semi-normal with the pandemic marching on, we are happy to see that many, including Alexandra Daddario, are taking advantage of the chance to dress up once again.
