Travis Barker reacts to backlash after drumming in delivery room during Kourtney Kardashian’s labor

Travis Barker doesn’t regret drumming during Kourtney Kardashian’s labor.

The Blink-182 rocker laughed off criticism of his viral video “practicing to [his] babies [sic] heartbeat” in the delivery room via Twitter Saturday.

The musician, 47, simply used a laughing-crying emoji to respond to a Barstool Sports article calling him out for being “roasted to death” on TikTok.

While many previously called the “ick” move “annoying,” Barker’s fans shared their support with tweets over the weekend.

“Dude this is awesome,” one user wrote. “It’s quirky AF and it’s all you and it’s such a tribute to your kid. No hate all love.”

Another claimed that “only true fans” would understand the Grammy nominee’s controversial decision.

Sunny Hostin, however, said she would have “wanted to punch [Barker] in the throat” if she was in Kardashian’s place.

“I love it for her,” the “View” co-host clarified on Friday. “[But] when you are in labor and you are birthing, you need, like, zen.

“I just remember my son for his third birthday got a drum and I wanted to die,” she continued. “It’s so loud. It’s not calming!”

As for Kardashian, the reality star has yet to address her husband’s delivery room drumming — or the birth of their son, Rocky.

The little one joined big siblings Mason, 13, Penelope, 11, and Reign, 8, whom the “Keeping Up With the Kardashians” alum shares with ex Scott Disick, as well as Barker and ex-wife Shanna Moakler’s two kids — son Landon, 20, and daughter Alabama, 17.

While the Lemme creator has stayed silent since leaving the hospital on Nov. 7, The Sun reported Friday that she has had a “strict, invite-only” rule for the infant’s early days

The couple “have communicated that they will be taking ‘family only’ time for the newly blended family and for Kourt to rest, and then they will be inviting the extended family over on an individual basis,” the insider alleged, adding that it’s more than “a germs thing.”

The source claimed “it’s, like, part of her new strategy to keep everyone at arm’s length,” referencing the Hulu personality’s recent onscreen feud with Kim Kardashian.

Family drama aside, Kourtney had a tumultuous pregnancy after revealing in June that she was expecting, with the “Kardashians” star undergoing bed rest and an emergency fetal surgery.

“I don’t have a birth plan except for talking to the baby all the time and telling him ‘Everything is going to be amazing,’” she told Vogue in October. “I’m ready to go in, have the baby, and have the experience we’re meant to have.”

Later that same month, Barker revealed their baby boy’s name and due date on “Halloween or … the first week of November.”

Kourtney and Barker have been married since 2022. They were longtime friends before kicking off their romance in 2021.
