The movie is about a man-eating, cannibalistic lesbian cheerleader, and that pretty much eliminates middle America. It’s obviously a girl-power movie, but it’s also about how scary girls are. Girls can be a nightmare.”
During a 2019 interview with Entertainment Tonight, Fox revealed the failure of the movie — and Hollywood and the media’s constant need to Sєxualize and objectify her — caused her to have a breakdown. “It wasn’t just that movie, it was every day of my life, all the time, with every project I worked on and every producer I worked with.
