CASHING IN I made £48,000 in a WEEK after Kourtney Kardashian recommended my ‘miracle’ product on Poosh… it flies off the shelves

A MUM of two has revealed that she made a whopping £48,000 in one week, after Kourtney Kardashian recommended her pregnancy products on Instagram.

Lara Henderson, 35, noticed a huge spike in sales of her Pure Mama pregnancy and skincare products after the reality star recommended her products on both her Poosh and personal accounts.

She said that in the US, sales increased by a whopping 400%, and a bottle of Pure Mama Belly Oil sold every five minutes.

Kourtney Kardashian, who recently had her fourth child (her first with new husband Travis Barker) revealed that she had packed the Pure Mama Belly Oil and Nipple Butter in her hospital bag when she went in to give birth.

Speaking to Femail, Lara said: “We know she is very particular about what she puts on and in her body, so for her to recommend us to her team at Poosh was huge.

“A lot of people have asked if we paid for the recommendation, but this was not the case which makes it even more genuine.”

Lara, who is from Papamoa, in New Zealand was pregnant with her first child in 2018, she became frustrated by the lack of pregnancy body care products available.

She said that her skin was “pushed to the limit” during pregnancy, adding that she couldn’t find any products to suit her needs.

She said: “I was not only overwhelmed with conflicting information on the safety of ingredients but was shocked by the amount of synthetic ingredients and fragrances that were been used.

“This coupled with an outdated market landscape that failed to acknowledge the complexity of motherhood, especially around the physical, psychological, and emotional changes women go through, led me to lead the change.”

In 2021, Lara decided to launch her small business Pure Mama, which offers both pregnancy and postpartum skincare.

She had to invest over £30,000 of her own money into the business, but it has now paid off, thanks to Kourtney’s support.

Lara said that after Kourtney promoted her products, she felt “overwhelmed” and could “barely keep up” with demand.

“We had to start our next run of production quickly to ensure we had enough stock”.

Pure Mama’s Belly Oil, which costs £35 is the brand’s number one best-selling product and is formulated to deeply nourish the skin during pregnancy.

The Nipple Butter, which costs £20 soothes, nourishes and restores dry and cracked nipples.

Kourtney Kardashian gave birth to her son, Rocky Thirteen Barker, on November first.

She announced her pregnancy via a stunt at a Blink 182 (husband Travis’ band) back in June.

During the concert, Kourtney appeared in the crowd holding up a sign that said “Travis I’m pregnant” in a call back to the music video for the band’s song All The Small Things, in which a fan holds up a similar sign at a concert.

Kourtney also shares three other children, Mason, Penelope and Reign, with ex Scott Disick.
