Read on to see 6 ways Candice Swanepoel stays in shape

1 She Starts Her Day With Breakfast

Swanepoel likes to start her morning with a fruit smoothie. She tells The Cut,  “I do a nice beauty smoothie. It contains coconut oil, flaxseed oil, banana, protein, some kind of antioxidant fruit like blueberries or strawberries, or some nut ʙuттer.”

2 She Does Yoga Mixed with Pilates Motions

Swanepoel, like many other celebrities, loves to do Pilates and yoga to work out. However, Swanepoel says to The Cut that she does both at the same time. She explains, “I’ve been doing my own kind of yoga. It’s not traditional yoga, but I put on some music and mix in some Pilates and squat resistance stuff I’ve learned over the years. It’s calm: I can meditate through it and get some flow with some music. It’s a little ritual for me. I do it every time I feel overwhelmed and stressed — I try at least twice a week.”

3 She Believes in Balance

For Swanepoel, wellness is all about balance. She says to The Cut that she tries to find balance in her diet and exercise. “Having a balanced lifestyle between personal and work,” she explains. “It’s being happy and healthy. I don’t like restrict myself from certain foods that I want, or kill myself at the gym. It’s really what’s comfortable for my body at the time and what’s best at that moment.”

4 She Alternates Between Light and Heavy Meals

Swanepoel is a believer in a balanced diet. This also includes balancing how light or heavy her meals are. She says to InStyle, “It’s all about balance for me. One meal in the day will be lighter than others, probably during lunch I will [eat something] heavier so that my body has time to burn it off. Night-time is something lighter, and I will always have a big breakfast.”

5 She Gets Outside Early

Swanepoel loves to get outside, and is always posting outdoor pH๏τos on social media. Swanepoel tells Savoir Flair that she tries to get outside each day, and loves to start early. “An ideal day would be to wake up quite early, make a nice breakfast, and take my time in the morning before taking my dogs for a walk, going to the beach, or having for a quick swim.”
