Kourtney Kardashian was slammed by her fans after she shared a touching Father’s Day tribute to husband Travis Barker, but failed to mention her ex Scott Disick.
The Kardashian’s star gushed about Travis, 48, as she dedicated a carousel of pH๏τos on her Instagram feed to him and their baby son Rocky Thirteen. The Blink 182 drummer was seen posing in various settings with the infant in his arms in the pictures, with some even featuring Kourtney’s other children too.
Kourtney, 45, shares three kids with Scott, 41, Mason, 14, Penelope, 11, and nine-year-old Reign. However, he was nowhere to be seen on the post and did not get a mention from her about being a dad to any of their children.
Kourtney captioned her post: “Happy Father’s Day @travisbarker!! Beyond grateful for the Dad that you are to our baby boy, and all of our kids. You keep us safe and protected and take care of us. Having a family with you is heaven. Happy to celebrate you!”
Followers of the reality star then took to the comments section to give their opinions on her loving post and while some couldn’t get enough others were quick to point out that the father of the bulk of her children is Scott. They then criticised her for failing to even mention him on the day meant to celebrate fathers.
One fan questioned: “What about Scott??? Is he not father to your kids too?” A second added: “And nothing to the man who is a fantastic father to your other three kids…?? Sad.” A third said: “Uh where’s the shoutout to the father of 75% of ur kids??”
A fourth social media user hit out at Kourtney as they referred to Travis’ three other children Landon, Alabama and Atiana who were not seen in the upload posting: “Way to exclude his three other children.”
However, one fan jumped to Kourtney’s defence as they pointed out Travis is Kourtney’s husband and that her past relationship with Scott was complicated. They shared: “My Gosh I see so many of you asking about Scott in the post like she has to acknowledge him at all.
“Especially on a post dedicated to her actual husband the one who did actually marry her and seems to make her HAPPY.
Let me just remind y’all how much Scott humiliated her through the years they were together so no she doesn’t need to talk/post about him if she doesn’t feel like it.”
