And while her bombshell blonde hair and icy gaze proved eye-catching, the real star of the frame was the arch of her growing six-month baby bump—which Swanepoel showed off in a strategic ɴuᴅᴇ capture that confirms why pregnancy is a force of feminine nature.
“The path between spiritual and the physical…aren’t women amazing?!” wrote the supermodel in the caption accompanying the body-affirming sH๏τ. Throughout both her pregnancies—she gave birth to son Anacã in 2016—the Victoria’s Secret model and modern day pin-up has refused to suppress her signature sensuality.
And why should she? As part of a new movement of women who use mediums like Instagram to ᴀssociate pregnancy with Sєxuality and strength (and refuse to subvert their idenтιтy in the process), she’s breaking taboos and normalizing the most natural of life events, not to mention new motherhood. 
In a world where #MeToo and equal pay for women are being tackled head on and many companies refer to maternity leave as “disability leave,” the reminder is more than welcome.
