Megan Fox called Ukrainian women names and caused a scandal: she was accused of being xenophobic

American actress Megan Fox published a pH๏τo online and unsuccessfully “joked” the side of Ukrainian women, for which she received a barrage of criticism. Find out how the star of the film “Transformers” offended Ukrainian women

The famous American actress and star of the Transformers film Megan Fox made a splash with a post on Instagram where she made inappropriate remarks about Ukrainian women. Here’s what happened and the reaction from the public.

The Megan Fox scandal

Recently, a pH๏τo of Fox from a party with other stars appeared online. The pH๏τo caused surprise among fans, as the actress seemed unlike herself. Some fans even suggested that the 37-year-old Fox had plastic surgery.

Soon after, the actress decided to respond to the fans’ comments by posting two other pH๏τos from the same party, but in different lighting. She added a comment to the pH๏τo, which actually caused the scandal:

“…it was just a darkened pH๏τo from my phone, where I look like a Ukrainian inflatable doll. When in reality, I look like one of those super expensive silicone real Sєx dolls that you can only buy in Japan,” she wrote.

How did the public react?

In the comments, people immediately began to criticise Fox for her remarks about Ukrainian women, who are already going through difficult times due to russian aggression.

Some even accused Megan of being xenophobic, as such words offend the feelings of any woman.

The actress decided to correct the situation, writing that “this is not what I meant. Ukrainian women are H๏τ and that’s why in my imagination inflatable dolls are also H๏τ. Let the girl make a joke, dammit”. However, there was no apology from her.

Social media users continued to speak out against Fox. For example, Ukrainian dancer Olena Shoptenko left a comment under the post, writing that “Women in Ukraine are dying right now because of the war. After these words, you are not worthy of a fingernail of our women”.

Jane Ford, a US Army veteran, wrote a similar comment: “Megan, what the hell is this. There is a war in Ukraine now”.
