Kourtney Kardashian Says She Stopped Breastfeeding Son Reign When He ‘Started Biting’

Kourtney Kardashian Barker is explaining why she decided to stop breastfeeding her son Reign.

On this week’s episode of The Kardashians, the Lemme co-founder, 45, sat down for lunch in Australia with her husband Travis Barker, his Blink-182 bandmate Mark Kappas and his wife Skye.

Kardashian Barker explained that the couples have become very close, because, “Mark and Travis have known each other forever, and Skye is really helpful with me with navigating life on tour.”

The wives then had a candid conversation about breastfeeding their little ones and the way it can go awry. “How long are you gonna nurse?” Skye asked Kardashian Barker about her and Barker’s baby boy Rocky Thirteen.

“I would love at least a year,” the mom of four replied.

“I did Reigny for a year. He started biting me,” she added of the now 9-year-old, whom she shares with ex Scott Disick.

Skye then revealed that she had a similar experience. “Oh yeah, Jack did that too,” she said.

Elsewhere in this week’s episode of the hit reality show, Kardashian Barker admitted that while she was in Australia, she enlisted a nanny to help with her then-newborn son.

In a confessional, Kardashian Barker revealed why she and her drummer husband decided to have a nanny while they were in Australia for Blink-182’s tour.

“We haven’t been using a nanny or a baby nurse with Rocky at all but now that we’re in Australia, it was important to bring someone so that I could leave the house and go out with the other kids and do adventures with them,” Kardashian Barker said.

“And so, I really schedule each adventure around his nap. Then I have a window of being gone for like two and a half hours, [which] is my time where I feel like I’m ready to go back.”

In addition to sons Rocky and Reign, Kardashian Barker is mom to daughter Penelope, 12, and son Mason, 15, who she shares with Disick. Barker is additionally a dad to Atiana, Landon and Alabama.
