Kourtney Kardashian has been upset with her sister Kim Kardashian all season long on Hulu’s The Kardashian, and now she’s offering more insight as to why.
Right from the start of the season, the 42-year-old Kim admitted she was concerned how her 44-year-old sister Kourtney would react to her signing on as creative director for a Dolce & Gabbana fashion show in Milan, after D&G personally styled Kourtney and Travis Barker’s wedding.
Now that the show is over and the family is back stateside, Kourtney – who made headlines with her gender reveal party this week – opened up about what really bothers her about her sister, who was born just 18 months after her.
The episode opens with Kim Kardashian taking a glam squad to a Los Angeles DMV for her drivers license pH๏τo, then transitions to Kourtney’s home, when Khloe arrives.
Khloe enters the home and she sees Simon Huck, who adds they are doing, ‘Lemme setups’ for Kourtney Kardashian’s vitamin and supplement brand, adding Khloe looks ‘gorgeous.’
Simon asks if Kourtney has spoken with Kim yet, and Khloe says, ‘No, and that’s sort of why I’m here. I feel like… I mean… is that her behind me?’ as Kourtney comes out to greet Khloe.
Simon asks Khloe if she’s going to the Baby 2 Baby gala, and Khloe says she is but she hasn’t found an outfit yet, adding, ‘So, I’m potentially going. As of now I don’t have an outfit.’
Simon adds, ‘I’m actually coincidentally going and sitting at the Dolce table,’ as Khloe adds, ‘Speaking of Dolce…’
Khloe adds in confession, ‘Whatever is going on with Kourtney and Kim, the tension is brewing and brewing and the more time that goes by, the thicker the tension gets. Like, let’s just move on. We’re making this so much bigger than it needs to be. Just tell her. Like, have the talk.’
Back at Kourtney’s house, Khloe adds, ‘No, but for real. When are you like… you have to just talk to Kim already, just to like move these things along in life.’
Kourtney adds, ‘No, I think about it cause I feel like I can move on and be like no one can kill your vibe, you know, like, you’re gonna have a good day.’
Khloe adds, ‘I believe you can in that way, but I don’t think you can co-exist with her, and I don’t think it’s healthy for you and your guys’ relationship.’
Simon adds, ‘I also think Kim is ready for the conversation. I feel like on the call that we had, she was actually saying things like, if the shoe was on the other foot…’
But Kourtney adds, ‘If she felt bad, don’t you think she would reach out and say, “Hey, I was thinking about it and I really feel blah blah blah. Like I don’t think that she feels…’
Khloe adds, ‘To my understanding, she’s tried to talk to you but you haven’t been ready to talk,’ which Kourtney adds, ‘Zero percent false… I mean, 100 percent false, zero percent true.’
‘It comes from an old thing of us like being 18 months apart and just having like a compeтιтive like nature as sisters, and then I think the one time I’ve even slightly done anything that was similar to her, which was like hang some Christmas lights in my entry that were like similar, which I didn’t even see hers at the time, like didn’t even know. Didn’t even know and it was such a thing,’ Kourtney admitted.
‘It was like… I feel like I’d go to like big extents to like have my own thing, but there’s like no sense of loyalty or like feeling of like, oh, how would I feel? It’s almost like a greediness to like, how… what can we do and how many things and everything moves so fast and I feel like we have it all. We have everything, more than everything that we want or need. If I look at the pH๏τos from the fashion show, like, half the time I’m like, is this my wedding? Like?’
Khloe asks, ‘But why can’t you say that to her?’ Kourtney responds, ‘Because I’m also like it’s who she is to her core.’
Kourtney adds in confession, ‘This is definitely not about a brand. It was about my wedding. I didn’t feel truly supported. I think it’s just that it’s like a free-for-all. It’s like no like boundaries and it felt like there’s no decency to like ask me how I felt about her doing this so closely to my wedding. It’s also like no one just like gives a f**k about anything. It’s like the Wild West, like we’re just gonna take and do as we want, whatever is best for us.’
Back at Kourtney’s house, Khloe asks, ‘So what are you gonna do? Not talk to her forever?’
Kourtney adds with a laugh, ‘That’s an option,’ as Khloe adds, ‘Let’s just go with our options here. Have the talk soon, have it in six months when you implode, or what? With the amount of energy you’re giving to him and I, why don’t you just give it to her and let this be done?’
