Candice Swanepoel fires back at body shamers who criticise her post-pregnancy ʙικιɴι body

Candice Swanepoel found herself hitting back at body shamers after she enjoyed a beach break in Brazil recently.

The Victoria’s Secret model welcomed her second son on June 19 and was snapped in her ʙικιɴι just under two weeks later.

Sharing a picture of her ʙικιɴι body on Instagram, she wrote: “This is me 12 days after having my son. If you have something bad to say about it…check yourself.

“Society can be so cruel to one another. Beauty standards are sometimes impossible for women these days.”

The model went on: “I’m not ashamed to show my post-partum tummy. I am proud actually…I carried my son for 9 months in there. I think I’ve earned the right to have a little tummy.

“Is it because I’m a model?” she continued. “Well we are normal people too, so let me enjoy the beach in peace please.”

Candice, 29, then shared a second pH๏τo of her huge baby bump on display in a ʙικιɴι.

“I don’t have to hide my stomach just because people have unrealistic standards of women,” she said.

“We create life. What can you do? Ladies we are all in this together be kind to each other.”

Newborn Ariel is the second son for the supermodel, 29, and her partner Hermann Nicoli. The two models are already parents to Anacan.

Candice’s message for her body shamers came after new mum Casey Batchelor was praised for showing her ‘real’ post-pregnancy body.

The former Celebrity Big Brother star posed up in a ʙικιɴι just over a month after welcoming her first child Florence with boyfriend Dane Goodson.

And while she admits she was unsure about posting the snap at first, the 33-year-old says she wanted to show the world that she was rocking her “mum bod”.
