Candice Swanepoel shows off her very toned figure in a bra top as she joins fellow Victoria’s Secret vets Kate Upton and Daiane Sodre for V cover

Candice Swanepoel is V magazine’s newest cover star, alongside fellow Victoria’s Secret veterans Kate Upton and Daiane Sodre.

The three women — Candice, 35, Kate, 32, and Daiane, 31 — each wear variations of black Alo Yoga activewear in sizzling snaps for the V149: Bombshells In The Wild issue.

PH๏τographer Alvaro Beamud Cortes captured the striking cover image, which shows the trio on a beach, suspended from stationary gymnastics rings.

Swanepoel, a South African native, displayed her toned tummy in high-waisted leggings and a matching sports bra.

Her voluminous, wavy, golden blonde locks spilled around her face and over her chest.

In the accompanying interview, she said about the pH๏τo shoot: ‘It was actually a really pleasurable day.’

Upton, who was outfitted in a plunging romper for the pH๏τo session, added, ‘It was such a lovely day, which instantly puts you in a good mood.

‘Plus, we were wearing workout clothes, so there’s a comfort level that you don’t always get on high fashion shoots.’

The Michigan-born beauty noted, ‘Also, I feel like, in the last couple of years, a little bit of creativity has been lost in editorial shoots… There have been so many recent shoots when they’ve been like, “Just come and be yourself.”

‘And I think, I don’t really want to come on set and be me. I’m here to create something. And that’s really what this shoot felt like.’

Swanepoel, who founded the swimwear range Tropic of C, played up her stunning looks with shimmery orange-hued eyeshadow.

Meanwhile, Kate’s eyelids were coated in a pink hue, which matched her pale pink blush and coordinating matte lipstick.

Daiane, who hails from Brazil, expressed graтιтude for being part of the day, calling it ‘one of the most special days of my career.’

She went on to say: ‘Working with so many creative people and with two beautiful supermodels, I had to pinch myself so many times to make sure I wasn’t dreaming.’

Isabeli Fontana and Maria Carolina Klaumann, both Brazilian, also appear in the issue and have an alternative cover that sees them draped in dramatic gothic ensembles.

Looking back on the shoot day, 41-year-old Isabeli said: ‘The day on set surpᴀssed my expectations and I felt revitalized with the group.

‘It’s always refreshing to be surrounded by art, creativity, and professionalism. I’m very excited for the results.’

Discussing the modeling world, Candice said, ‘The beauty of our jobs is that it’s always evolving. Some people like change. Sometimes I do, and sometimes I fight against it a bit.’

The mother-of-two emphasized, ‘We spend so much time figuring out how to navigate a world, and then once you’ve figured it out, it changes.’

She gave an example: ‘The other day, I had to make a “Get Ready With Me” video, and I felt like it was easier for me to fly 15 hours across the world and to do a 12-hour day than to make one of those videos.’

Candice established herself as a top model while working with Victoria’s Secret in the 2010s.

She was scouted at a flea market in 2003.
