Candice Swanepoel’s modelling revenge

Candice Swanepoel has revealed that she doesn’t mind the taste of revenge.

“Revenge is always… I know it sounds terrible, but it does feel good to show those people,” she told GQ magazine.

The 23-year-old Victoria’s Secret model said she was bullied at school for her small figure, but that modelling was her way of showing them what she could do.

The South African beauty said that until she was discovered for her looks at a Durban flea market aged 15, she felt like an outsider.

“A year before I got scouted, I would watch a lot of Fashion TV. At school, I got teased because I was so thin and awkward-looking. But the girls on TV looked similar to me,” she told the magazine.

She said she told her mother about the similarities she noticed between herself and the models, and “a year later, someone took me to an agency and that’s it.”

“I put all my eggs in one basket when I left South Africa. I put my head down and worked my ᴀss off. And look where it got me.”

Candice said she looked to Twitter whenever she feels down, “because it’s only people who like you”. She also said that her friendships with fellow Victoria’s Secret models were important because they all share a “very different life that not many other people can understand.”

The GQ interview is accompanied by a magazine cover sH๏τ of her seductively posing while wearing a red and black one-piece, as well as a pH๏τoshoot inside; one of the pH๏τos showing her wearing only a pink thong, her arms covering her chest.
