Angelina Jolie is putting up a tough fight against her ex-husband, Brad Pitt, over the custody of their children. While she already has her hands full, Daniel Craig has opened up about his time on ‘Tomb Raider’ with the actress. The ‘James Bond’ actor publicly expressed his displeasure working on the movie.
It Was A Big Mistake For Daniel
Speaking about his experience on the film, Daniel said, “On something like Tomb Raider, you’re beholden to the fact that you’re—they didn’t have a script. So that’s as simple as that. You can’t start a film without a script.”
“Tomb Raider slowed things down for me. It was the worst mistake I’ve made. But it was also a good lesson. The script on that was all over the place, waffling on about eight foot green monkeys and I could just never get my head around what was supposed to be going on,” the actor continued.
Regretting his decision to work in the movie, Daniel joked, “But personally I should never have said yes. I felt like a bit of a spare p**** at a wedding throughout. I probably looked like one too.”
While Daniel Craig was open about his criticism, Angelina Jolie herself claimed that she, too, didn’t have a great time as the lead of the movie. “I wasn’t satisfied with it. Through the making of that film, we were all still trying figure out how things worked, and we were trying to make the video game into a person, but still it was the video game and still she was a video vixen and she wasn’t quite a solid woman with emotions and feelings,” she admitted.
Issues Still Remain Unresolved With Ex-Husband Brad Pitt
While it’s been four years since Angelina and Brad filed a divorce, the two are still engaged in multiple battles. One of them is the custody of their kids. Brad Pitt is concerned that his ex-wife might take the kids away from him.
Brad thinks the ‘Salt’ actress will stop at nothng to get what she wants. He also claimed that the ongoing legal battles have had a negative effect on his relationship with his children. A source revealed that the two can’t resolve things quietly. “He’s convinced that all of her actions are retaliatory. They can’t resolve things peacefully. This long, drawn-out battle isn’t likely to end anytime soon,” said the source.
Angelina also opened up about Brad’s strained relationship with her and the children. She claimed that she faced a lot of verbal and physical abuse. A court document filing stated, “He choked her and shook her during the altercation.”
“The children rushed in and all bravely tried to protect each other,” the document stated further. “Before it was over, Pitt choked one of the children and struck another in the face. Some of the children pleaded with Pitt to stop.”
Brad Pitt has since denied all the allegations. A source also claimed that the children have a good relationship with their father. “They all actually like him,” said the source. They also mentioned that this is something that “really gets under Angie’s skin.”
