It’s no surprise that Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker have been trying for a baby. The couple have been candid about their IVF journey, both on and off the show. Kourtney recently shared a cryptic message to Instagram, and fans believe the reality star could finally be expecting.
Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker started their IVF journey in 2021. The couple have been very open about the ups and downs of their experience.
During the first two seasons of The Kardashians, Kourtney and Travis were open about the steps needed to take during this journey.
“The fertility journey, Travis and I, we stay in the moment and just do the steps that we need to do,” she said on the show. “It is nice to hear good news and have some positivity. We love that, but we just wait to hear the final words.”
Back in December of 2022, the couple ended up stopping their IVF journey and are hoping that she can still get pregnant the old fashioned way.
“Finally started getting my energy back 10 months after IVF, for anyone else going through it, it gets better!” Kourtney wrote in an Instagram story on December 8.
Kourtney previously revealed that she felt a bit “pushed” into trying IVF since she was over 40.
“If you even look anything up online about things you can do to help get pregnant… it says on there, like, ‘If you’re over 40’—or it might even say something younger—it says, ‘Go right away,’” she said on Not Skinny But Not Fat.
Since then, many have been awaiting to see if the couple will announce any pregnancy news.
Just recently, the reality star posted a cryptic message to her Instagram story.
Many fans believe she may be alluding to her expecting a baby.
The excerpt came from a Christian daily journal that started, “Remember that you live in a fallen world: an abnormal world tainted by sin.”
“Much frustration and failure result from your seeking perfection in this life. There is nothing perfect in this world except Me,” the quote went on.
“That is why closeness to Me satisfies deep yearnings and fills you will Joy. I have planted yearning for perfection in every human heart. This is a good desire, which I alone can fulfill,” it read.
“But most people seek this fulfillment in other people and earthly pleasures or achievements. Thus they create idols, before which they bow down. I will have no other gods before Me!
“Make Me the deepest desire of your heart. Let me fulfill your yearning for perfection,” the excerpt finished.
Under the quote were specific bible verses that led fans to believe this could be a pregnancy announcement.
“We know that the whole creation has been groaning as in the pains of childbirth right up to the present time. – Romans 8:22,” the text read.
However, Kourtney has yet to confirm any pregnancy rumors.
