How Often Does Megan Fox See Her Children?

Not many fans remember that Megan Fox is a mother-of-three. The actress shares three boys with her ex-husband Brian Austin Green. The couple were married from 2010 to 2021. But now, Megan makes headlines for her eyebrow-raising relationship with Machine Gun Kelly, whom she got engaged to in 2022.

Since going public with their romance, fans have been quick to notice that Megan seems to always be with Kelly. While the singer often appears on her Instagram, Megan’s boys are nowhere to be seen, unlike their father’s social media. This has raised speculation and criticism over how much time Megan is spending with her boyfriend over her own children. Here’s everything we know.

Megan Splits Custody Of Her 3 Boys With Ex Brian Austin Green

Megan and Brian reportedly share joint and legal custody of their three boys. It’s not something they argued over then they divorced, either. According to court documents obtained in November 2020, Megan requested joint custody of the kids, which Brian later agreed to with no contest in his reply.

Two years after their split, Brian opened up about co-parenting with Megan. Speaking to E! News, he said they “co-parent really well together.” “[We] don’t fight over time with the kids […] [and] try and alternate holidays between Christmas Day, Christmas Eve.”

“I’m very aware of–and so is she–that our schedules are insane. So, when we do get time, cherish it,” he continued. “It’s an amazing thing and we support the other parent having time.”

Brian welcomed a son, Zane, with his girlfriend Sharna Burgess in December 2022, and he added that Megan has met the newborn. “She thought he was the cutest thing,” Brian revealed. “I love that. And she’s always asking the kids and about him, like how he’s doing?”

Brian even commented on Megan’s relationship with Machine Gun Kelly, expressing enthusiasm for the possibility of the couple to have children of their own. “I think that’d be amazing,” Brian continued. “They are absolutely obsessed with Zane and so it’d be the same for them with her.”

He added, “And the reality is that it’s I think it’s difficult for them leaving and going over to her house because they miss him so much so to be able to go over to her house and have the same experience. There’s something cool there.”

Megan Fox’s Kids Spend More Time With Brian Austin Green Than Her
Megan’s ex-husband may only have positive things to say about their co-parenting, but some reports suggest that he may do more of the childrearing. One report by Radar Online said the boys have been spending more time with their father since they welcomed a new sibling.

“Megan, 36, and Brian, 49, currently share joint custody of their children, but sources say the Beverly Hills, 90210 alum has been spending more time with the boys and especially enjoys seeing them bond with his 5-month-old son, Zane, by his current squeeze, Dancing With The Stars professional Sharna Burgess, 37,” the publication reported.

Sources suggested to Radar Online that Megan is upset with the current custody arrangement, and the boys haven’t been able to spend enough time bonding with her fiance.

Is MGK Coming Between Megan Fox And Her Kids?
To this, Brian is reportedly ready for a custody battle in court if Megan challenges the current arrangement. A source told Radar Online, “Megan wants to have kids with Colson and believes her boys need to start thinking of him as their father figure,” the pal added.

Brian has no interest in keeping the kids away from Megan. He wants to continue the 50/50 custody arrangement that they already have in place, but he is also not willing to take any less in order for the kids to spend time with Megan, specifically her and Machine Gun Kelly.

The insider added, “People are convinced they’re headed to court to work out their very different views.”

Megan Fox As A Mom
Things may be going smoothly co-parenting-wise between Megan and Brian currently, but it wasn’t always that way. Shortly after their split, in November 2020, Megan called Brian out of posting pH๏τos online featuring their kids. She also claimed he was trying to publicly portray her as an “absent” mom.

“I had a great Halloween with them yesterday, and yet notice how absent they are from my social media,” she commented on his Instagram pH๏τo. I know you love your kids. But I don’t know why you can’t stop using them to posture [sic] via Instagram.”

“You’re so intoxicated with feeding the pervasive narrative that I’m an absent mother, and you are the perennial, eternally dedicated dad of the year. You have them half of the time,” Megan continued. “Congratulations you truly are a remarkable human! Why do you need the internet to echo back to you what should be inexhaustibly evident in the way your children love you?”

Brian may not be calling Megan an absent mom, but it has stopped her followers from questioning how little she posts about or is seen in public with her children – the opposite of her current relationship. According to their custody arrangement, Megan should have her boys as much as Brian does. And though reports say things may be different in real life, neither Megan nor Brian have had any comments.

Recently, Megan has also been accused of child abuse, though this does not come from her ex Brian. The controversy stems from how Megan handles gender idenтιтy with her kids. She was first accused by Robby Starbuck, a former Republican candidate for Congress in Nashville, Tennessee.

The scandal has continued to spiral and Megan has begun to fight back against these claims of child abuse.
