Jennifer Aniston’s beauty and wellness secrets revealed: From the anti-blemish sheet mask to her trusty collagen supplements

Ever since she burst onto our screens on Friends back in 1994 (sh**, was it really that long ago?!), we’ve had a mild major girl crush on Jennifer Aniston.

From her ridiculously good hair and iconic hairstyles, to her savvy sartorial choices, she’s one of the world’s most iconic stars and the kind of person we covet as a best friend.

Lest we forget, she’s the woman who convinced an entire generation to beg their stylists for choppy layers and the woman whose been preaching the benefits of purse-friendly Aveeno for 13 years.

Much like Benjamin Button, she seems to age backwards. Jealous, us?

Want to know her secrets? Of course you do! Here are all the beauty and wellness secrets we’ve gleaned from Jennifer over the years…

The makeup she swears by

She’s been using the same lip liner for over 15 years as she says, you can ‘mix anything with it.’ Estée Lauder Automatic Lip Pencil Duo in Fig, you lucky thing.

She’s also a huge fan of blogger-favourite “Better than Sex” Mascara by Too Faced.

Debenhams, we’re coming for ya.

Her simple approach to skincare

The star also spoke to Well and Good about her beauty and wellness regime – and we were basically clinging onto every last word.

Rather than plumping for expensive serums or pricey anti-ageing treatments, Jennifer prefers to keep things pared back, simply by washing her face with soap and water and applying a day cream with added SPF. So far, so basic.

There is, however, one indulgent beauty brand she likes to splurge on: 111 Skin. Jen was spotted on Instagram donning the brand’s £75 Rose Gold Illuminating Eye Mask, which apparently delivers potent brightening ingredients to the under-eye area for long-lasting luminosity. She’s also a fan of their Anti-Blemish Bio Cellulose Mask, which she was seen wearing backstage at the Emmys.

Then she revealed the real anti-ageing hero behind her youthful glow: a collagen peptide.

“Collagen is the glue that holds everything together. I’ve always been an advocate for nourishing your wellness from within, which is why I started using Vital Proteins so many years ago,” she said.

“There’s a collagen peptide that I’ve been loving. I’ve been seeing a difference.

“My nails are stronger and there’s a healthier…how do you explain it? A glow. It’s sort of that working from the inside-out thing.”

Jen swears by the brand Vital Proteins – and loves it so much that she was recently appointed Chief Creative Officer. The best news? You can emulate the star for just £15. We knew we loved her for a reason.

As well as her penchant for supplements, Jen has spoken of her love for CurrentBody’s NuFACE Mini device, which uses microcurrent technology to sculpt and de-puff the facial contours.

The workouts that keep her in shape

Jen’s daily wellness regime consists of yoga, boxing, cardio and meditation sessions.

She said: “I feel really beautiful when I finish a great workout.

“Because I’ve taken care of my body, my endorphins are going, my blood is pumping. I’m taking care of the one body I have.

“I have a spin bike, an elliptical bike and a treadmill — and I do cardio for at least 20 minutes a day. Even that short burst makes a difference.”

She does, however, stress that she makes time for rest days, adding: “Of course I take days off. It’s important to rest the body” she added.

“I can go a whole week saying, ‘I’m not going to work out’. Your body will tell you what it needs.”

The intermittent fasting regime she swears by

Jen has previously spoken about embarking on the 16:8 fasting diet, which involves eating during an eight hour window, and then fasting for the remaining 16 hours.
