Khloe Kardashian was lost for words after learning about her sister’s gift for her rocker husband.
Kourtney Kardashian disclosed to her younger sibling Khloe, 38, that she got husband Travis Barker a vial of her own blood as a romantic gesture.
During the latest episode of The Kardashians, Khloe paid a visit to see pregnant Kourtney, who was on bedrest following “rare” fetal surgery on her unborn child.
Kourtney was showing Khloe a scrapbook she had made for Blink 182 drummer Travis, highlighting memories from their three-year relationship. After Khloe looked through the book, Kourtney said: “Did you see my blood vial in there?” leaving her sister speechless.
A Khloe replied: “What? No.” Kourtney encouraged her to have another look, and Kourtney replied: “Gotta see the blood,” before asking: “It’s a real thing of blood?”
When Khloe asked why they had given each other their blood in the first place, Kourtney said: “Just to like, have each others”. Speaking to the camera, Khloe said: “To wanna show off your blood vials is also like, ‘alright, if that’s what you’re into’, but.. it’s very Billy Bob Thornton of them.”
“And, like, my every minute of the day, do I wanna be harnessing a tube of blood? Not for me, but that’s what makes the world go round, we’re all different. Rock on with your bad self!”
The vials also received a visceral reaction from Kourtney’s friend Simon Huck, who revealed his shock when she told him about it. He said: “It’s sick. I don’t even wanna comment on it. And is there still blood in it?”. Kourtney confirmed there was, leading Simon to question: “Are you okay? Is that like, healthy and safe?”Kourtney and Travis are renowned for their extravagant gifts, which have previously rooms filled with flowers and diamond jewellery. The couple may have been inspired by their friends Megan Fox and Machine Gun Kelly. who also exchanged gifts of blood during their relationship.
