The Baywatch star, who was basically the poster girl of the decade, has sported the classic look on many occasions throughout the years.
We’re talking on the red carpet at the 1995 Cannes Film Festival to those paparazzi pictures of her stepping out of the car with ex husband Tommy Lee in *that* high neck metallic tight dress. Yep, you know the one.
For some context, the hairdo consists of three major features: curls piled high, tumbling tendrils and long face-framing bangs. It’s part grunge, part glam, and everything that made Pam, Pam.
But as a hairstyle with such a high profile history, of course, it’s bound to make a comeback at some point and have its moment again.
With the resurgence of the Y2K era, and the latest Barbiecore obsession thanks to the upcoming Greta Gerwig and Margot Robbie film, plenty of celebs have delved into the Pam An archive to recreate the style.One of the most recent famous faces is reality star, Khloé Kardashian, who – along with her family – is also known for her love of glam.
It comes as celebrity makeup artist, Ash K Holm shared a snap of the Good American founder sporting the hairstyle to her grid.
“SUMMER INSPO,” she captioned the image, which is enough to cement the updo as THE hairstyle of the summer.
Behind the stunning recreation was Chris Appleton, celeb hairstylist and Kim’s BFF – who is also partial to the updo, most recently sporting a sleeker style at this year’s Met Gala.
Chris regularly makes an appearance on the family’s reality show, The Kardashians, where he’s responsible for many of the sisters’ next-level hairstyles.
In the snap, Koko is seen giving her best sultry pose, while also donning a ɴuᴅᴇ makeup look to compliment her hair. Khloé’s version of the Pam look is a little more modern though, as the 38 year old opted for fuller, thick eyebrows reminiscent of today’s style, over the classic thin brows of the 90s.
While there is only one Pam, the reality star absolutely nailed the recreation, and many fans thought so too.
Taking to Ash’s comment section, plenty of users gushed over Khloé’s whole vibe.
