KHLOE Kardashian has thrown shade at her big sister Kim after she was snubbed from one of the biggest events of the year.
Khloe, 38, was noticeably absent from the 2023 Met Gala, while Kim attended with their younger siblings Kendall and Kylie Jenner.
The Skims founder wore a white midi dress by Schiaparelli made entirely of strands of pearls.
The garment featured a silky corset bodice and bra in a golden hue and Kim added a huge diamond-and-pearl choker, diamond stud earrings, white sandals encrusted with pearls, and a matching pearl anklet.
She completed her look with an over-the-top coat worn off her shoulders and had her brunette hair styled in a dramatic updo.
Kim’s attire was reminiscent of the pearl look she wore on her 2007 Playboy cover.
In a rather memorable video clip from that shoot, Kim’s momager Kris Jenner was seen filming her daughter on her mobile phone and told her: “Kim, you’re doing amazing sweetie.”
Mom-of-two Khloe referenced this exact moment when she shared a pH๏τo of Kim at the 2023 Met Gala on her Instagram Stories late on Monday night.
The Good American co-founder added a GIF of the words “you’re doing amazing sweetie,” in a cheeky dig at her older sister.
Khloe also shared a video of her three siblings speaking to a reporter on the Met steps.
She then posted a direct message to Kendall and Kylie and wrote: “Kenny and Ky post so I can repost your epic epic glory!!!! I’m not being sued by pH๏τogs.”
Kendall, 27, showed off her slender legs in a custom Marc Jacobs sequined black jumpsuit with a silver glitter collar and the vibe of Karl Lagerfeld.
Kylie, 25, opted for a more classic look and sported a red Jean Paul Gaultier gown with a thigh slit and light blue contrast in the back.
Khloe, along with her big sister Kourtney Kardashian and their mom Kris were all missing from the Met Gala this year – despite being invited in 2022.
Even Kim and Kylie’s kids – North West, nine, and Stormi Webster, five – were seen prior to the event.
WHERE’S THE MOMAGER?
Since half of the Kar-Jenner family attended the event in such high fashion, it made fans wonder what happened to the rest of the KUWTK crew.
After the three Hulu reality stars were officially considered a no-show, fans and critics started speculating on Reddit.
One sarcastic critic wrote: “Surprisingly Kris ain’t there she dresses like Karl every day.”
Another commented, “Anna gave all of them a chance last year and that clearly did NOT work out…”
A fan posed the question: “Where Are Khloe & Kourtney? They slayed at the Met last year so I’m sure they were invited?”
To which someone said: “At home thank gawd.”
Another user responded: “Home cause Khloe doesn’t care about the red carpet like that and Kourtney had her one chance and failed.”
