Kourtney may be the resident grungy Kar-Jenner sister – which makes a lot of sense as she’s now Mrs Travis Barker too – but Khloé Kardashian’s latest eye look is certainly leaning into a darker more brooding style, that’s miles away from her usual glitter, sparkle and pink aesthetic.
Makeup artist Ash K Holm, created a Halo eyes lewk on Khloé using the deepest smoky navy and gunmetal blue for the outer and inner corner, and it couldn’t be further from pink.
Balancing it and keeping it feeling authentic to the star, Ash used a ʙuттery ɴuᴅᴇ for that light central halo spot that completes the widening and rounding shadow style. It’s exactly the kind of high contrast that really makes a halo eye look go-off and this one… really delivers.
Ok so, it’s not full blown Wednesday Adams, and her hair is still strictly Barbiecore, but we’re really enjoying seeing more of a grunge aesthetic creep its way into this look. Further leant into with the dark ‘tight-liner’ kohl all around Khloé’s lash line, and the intensely dense and dark lashes further exaggerating those dark corners.
And we’re pretty sure it was intentional goth-y behaviour, because Ash’s caption not only read: “MUSE”, but also featured the black heart emoji, 🖤. And you can’t argue with that.
Could this be a hint of a pop-punk princess era? I’m crossing my fingers and toes.
