Kourtney Kardashian is proving once again that even the most glamorous celebrities have their quirks, especially when it comes to family nicknames. In the latest episode of The Kardashians, which was also the season five finale, Kourtney finds herself hilariously flustered when her young nephew calls her by a name she’d rather not be ᴀssociated with.
Khloe’s Son Mistook Kourtney For Grandma Kris
During the episode, Kourtney, who was in Australia with her husband Travis Barker, connects with her sister Khloé Kardashian via FaceTime. Khloé, 40, is with her young son Tatum, who is nearly two years old. As Tatum approaches the screen, Khloé attempts to prompt him to greet his aunt.
“Lovey,” Tatum says, a term he uses for his grandmother Kris Jenner. Kourtney visibly reacts with a grimace upon hearing the name.
“Don’t worry, Kourtney, that’s not meant to be an insult,” Khloé reᴀssures her.
“Do I really look like I’m in my 60s?” Kourtney retorts.

In a candid moment, Kourtney shares her feelings with the cameras, saying, “Of course, my mom is stunning and much older than me, but it’s not exactly the highest praise. Or maybe it is, in a way?”
Meanwhile, Khloé encourages Tatum to greet his aunt properly, saying, “Say hi to Auntie Kourt.” With a bit of coaxing, Tatum eventually says, “Kourt.”
“That’s right, this is Auntie Kourt, not Lovey,” Khloé corrects him.
However, within moments, Tatum is back to calling Kourtney “Lovey,” much to her amusement.
Khloé shares her children with Tristan Thompson, a professional basketball player. Their relationship has been marred by controversy due to multiple cheating scandals. Khloé and Tristan welcomed their first child, daughter True Thompson, in April 2018.
Despite their attempts to mend their relationship, Tristan’s infidelities, including a high-profile incident with Jordyn Woods in early 2019, led to their separation.
In a twist of drama, Khloé and Tristan had their second child, a son born via surrogate in August 2022, while they were already separated. Their relationship became further complicated when Tristan fathered another child, a son named Theo, with Maralee Nichols, a woman he had an affair with while still involved with Khloé.
In contrast, Kourtney has had a more stable family life. She shares her three children with her ex-partner Scott Disick: Mason Disick, born in December 2009; Penelope Disick, born in July 2012; and Reign Disick, born in December 2014. Kourtney and Scott ended their relationship in July 2015 after over a decade together.
