Kourtney Kardashian admits she’s ‘really sad’ oldest son Mason, 14, denied joining family vacation with Travis Barker

KOURTNEY Kardashian admits she’s sad after her eldest son, Mason, 14, denied joining their family vacation.

She and Travis Barker took Penelope, Reign, and newborn Rocky on a two-week trip to Sydney, Australia, while Mason chose to stay behind.

During an episode of The Kardashians this week, Kourtney was seen jet-setting to Australia with her family.

However, her firstborn wasn’t in attendance.

During a confession, Kourtney revealed she was sad Mason chose to hang back from their trip with Travis Barker.

“I am in Australia. We made it,” she began. “We’ve been having the best time.

“Travis is touring to different cities in Australia for about a week, but because I was on bedrest before, and then having a newborn at home, I really haven’t had any outings with my other kids, so really I wanted to stay in Sydney.”

She went on to say Mason chose to stay with his dad, Scott Disick.

“[Mason] is home with his dad, which makes me really sad, but I’m making the most of every second.”

In last week’s episode, Kourtney revealed she attempted to get Mason to come on the trip by telling him fun facts about the continent, but ultimately, he stood behind.

KOURT’S FEAR
During the holiday episode, Kourtney was seen sitting at a beachside restaurant with her kids and their nanny, Allie Garcia.

In the clip, Kourtney asked Penelope and Reign what the “peaks or pits” of their trip were.

While Reign was excited to say his favorite part of the trip was ice cream and going on a roller coaster, Penelope said her high and low were both going to the beach.

“Going to the beach and my pit was that there was like a shark attack so I don’t wanna go in the water,” Penelope said.

Reign brushed off his sister’s peak and pit, saying, “Eh, who cares, one person were gonna get bit, I’ll take the risk.”

Allie turned the question to Kourtney, and the media personality responded with a heartfelt answer.

My peak, probably hanging out at Miranda’s,” she shared.

“I felt like I learned so much from her mom on like the traditions that I wanna keep in my house now with the kids, like how the mom is always cooking and taking care of everyone.”

She also shared one of her fears, which was spiders.

“My pit was the spider,” as the episode panned to a clip of a large spider crawling on a wall.

“The only reason I could never move to Australia is for the spiders.”

Kourtney admitted, “I look for spiders everywhere.”

She concluded her pit by saying, “It’s just terrifying and it’s not the way I wanna live my life.”
