Kourtney Kardashian blasted over new Ozempic-style weight loss supplement launched by her brand Lemme

Kourtney Kardashian’s gummy brand Lemme is launching an Ozempic-style supplement for weight loss, and consumers are not happy.

In an Instagram post this week, Lemme shared: ‘Introducing Lemme GLP-1 Daily, a breakthrough innovation in metabolic health, formulated to naturally boost your body’s GLP-1 production, reduce appeтιтe, and promote healthy weight loss.’

It didn’t take long for a wave of criticism to come the 45-year-old reality television personality’s way.

One social media user wrote, ‘Yes, you should be pissed off that Kourtney Kardashian is selling ‘natural’ appeтιтe suppressants,’ and mentioned Lottie Moss’ Ozempic overdose.

Another person wary of the new product wrote on X, ‘I know supplement regulation is the wild wild west but this screams class action lawsuit to me.’

Lemme noted in the introductory caption, ‘Since Lemme’s launch, we’ve heard from thousands of you looking for a natural GLP-1 solution without side effects.’

And Kardashian shared in a press release per Page Six, ‘We spent years working with our medical advisory board to formulate Lemme GLP-1 Daily into the most effective and researched GLP-1 supplement on the market.’

She added, ‘I’m excited and proud of our cutting-edge formulation that uses both clinically-studied and patented ingredients to increase GLP-1 levels in the body, naturally.’

The new supplement, which launches September 16, includes ‘clinically-tested ingredients Eriomin® Lemon Fruit Extract, Supresa® Saffron Extract, and Morosil™ Red Orange Fruit Extract.’

Ahead of the official launch, Lemme stated that the new gummy promotes fat reduction, reduces hunger, and promotes ‘healthy weight management.’

Internet personality Alesia Carter wrote on Diet Prada’s Instagram post, ‘Why would you launch something you haven’t tried?’ and mocked Kourtney as she added, ‘”I’m breastfeeding but you guys can take it.”‘

While some people mentioned the potential for a class action lawsuit, Lemme clarified, ‘There isn’t a lawsuit,’ and added, ‘All of our products go through full scientific and legal reviews.’

Another commenter complained about the Kardashian/Jenner family, ‘I’m tired of seeing them monetize their insecurities.’

There was also someone who asked to ‘collectively ban’ the family of entrepreneurs and moguls.

One critic found the new product launch laughable, simply writing: ‘Kourtney Kardashian selling natural Ozempic lmao.’

And someone joked about a hypothetical legal case, ‘I’ll be purchasing purely to get in on the lawsuit.’
