Kourtney Kardashian took to Instagram to share a series of pH๏τos of her 2023 Halloween outfit.
The pregnant reality star recreated her sister Kim Kardashian’s 2013 Met Gala look from when she was pregnant with North West – the outfit which left Kim distraught on her way home. Kim previously opened up about how she was sobbing in the car after seeing memes about her after the luxury event.
10 years on from the famous red carpet, Kourtney decided to try out Kim’s dress for herself. Taking to Instagram, the TV star posed in the exact same frock and shoes to match.
She styled her hair in a sleek ponytail, just like Kim did, and opted for the same makeup look as her sister from the night. Kourtney, like her sister, was also sporting a baby bump as she cradled her tum in the snaps.
Kourtney captioned the pH๏τo: “Freaky Friday”, which is a reference to the film which sees a mother and daughter swap lives for the day. Kim shared the pH๏τo onto her Instagram story with three clapping emojis as she threw support behind her sister.
However, fans weren’t too sure on the outfit choice. One user wrote: “I don’t know if this is toxic or paying homage, but BABY.”
Another added: “The pettiness is real,” while a third said: “I don’t know what you were doing with this look, but it’s just giving jealous.” Meanwhile, other fans praised the look as “iconic”, following recent feuds between the pair.
Their fans are mostly scratching their heads as to whether this is a legitimate dig at Kim or a pre-planned joke after months of them feuding over “copying” each other. In recent episodes of The Kardashians, the pair came to blows over Kim working on the same fashion deal as Kourtney around her wedding.
Kourtney had claimed that Kim had used her big day as a “business deal”, while Kim later claimed that Kourtney had copied her wedding by tying the knot in the same country and with the same singer. Since the episode aired, reports have continued about their feud.
However, Kim seemed to put all rumours to bed last week after sharing a pH๏τo from her birthday party with all her sisters bar Kourtney – but said she was looking forward to seeing her next week.
