Kourtney Kardashian was reportedly involved in a ransom plot worth $4million.
The Kardashians star had her company Lemme targeted in a truck heist last week, with millions of dollars worth of vitamin stock held to ransom by a robber who tried to sell the merchandise back to the reality star. Kourtney, 44, has a stake in the supplement line.
Sources told TMZ that thieves made off with seven-figures worth of stock from Lemme Burn’s logistics centre in San Fernando Valley, California, after allegedly hacking into the security system of the facility and gaining access to stock using false credentials. They then drove away from the scene of the incident, meeting no resistance on their way.Later, a digital ransom note was sent demanding payment in exchange for the stolen goods. Instead, company execs reported the incident to the police, who are looking into it as a matter of grand theft. One spokesperson said the team is “working closely with law enforcement agencies to investigate the theft”.
They added: “We are implementing contingency plans to minimise any impact to our customers and retail partners.” Kourtney has yet to address the incident on her social media pages.
Instead, she’s been busy being loved up with her Blink 182 star husband Travis Barker, and sharing tips for new mums after welcoming her new baby Rocky – and revealing exactly where he was conceived. She posted a snap from a secluded desert getaway in Utah, in a scarlet ʙικιɴι and oversized coat.
She wrote: “One year ago today!” and Travis quickly commented: “We made baby Rocky.” They enjoyed some intimate time together at a spa resort, featuring a pool surrounded by snow and mountains, with a roaring fire and a H๏τ tub to keep them company.
Kourtney’s toenails were painted a pale pink with blue nail art, and Travis lounged in a white slogan tee with a leopard-print blanket covering his lower half. He showed off the tattoos covering his arms and head while securing one arm around Kourtney’s bare legs.
Speaking about the couple’s love of feet, she admitted on the Not Skinny But Not Fat podcast: “I mean, I have really cute feet. I mean, if somebody wants to pay extra attention to my feet, I’m not mad at that. Well, my husband, not just anybody!”
