Kourtney Kardashian had some stern words for Khloe Kardashian as she hit out at her younger sister’s over-the-top party decorations.
The Lemme founder, 45, has become more environmentally focused in recent years and wasn’t happy when Khloe showed her the extravagant decorations she had bought for Valentine’s Day in the latest episode of The Kardashians.
As Kourtney spent time in Sydney, Australia, with her kids and Travis Barker, she decided to FaceTime her sister for a catch-up. Khloe then proudly showed off her balloon display for Valentine’s Day, but Kourtney blasted her sister for not caring about the environment.
“Oh cute, all your Valentine’s stuff,” Kourtney said, but when Khloe asked: “How is it?” Kourtney replied: “Crazy. I was gonna say, it screams ‘Bad for the planet’.”
Khloe was fuming with Kourtney’s comments as she said: “Kourtney, not now.” She then hinted she won’t be doing the huge decorative displays again as she said: “Listen, give me one more year I’ll be over this.”While Kourtney has also previously had extravagant decorations, including huge bouquets of flowers, she’s said she doesn’t throw anything away once she’s done with them. Instead, the mom-of-four donates her floral arrangements to hospitals.
She made the surprise revelation when responding to a fan on Instagram after she shared a huge floral display from her husband Travis Barker. A user commented: “Beautiful! Out of curiosity, what do you and your sisters do with all the flowers??”
Kourtney explained: “All the rose bushes can be planted afterwards! But I usually donate them to hospitals.” The picture Kourtney shared showed a gorgeous floral arrangement on her wall, floor and in white vases after Travis Barker surprised her for Mother’s Day.
The flowers included pink and white roses, with green foliage poking through. The floral ᴀssortment was positioned by a window in the home overlooking the garden.
