Kourtney Kardashian says she has ‘never’ put baby boy Rocky in his crib… after previously sparking debate for letting son Mason sleep in her bed

Kourtney Kardashian ‘never’ puts her newborn son Rocky in his crib.

The reality TV personality, 45, opened up on Instagram about how her and husband Travis Barker sleep with their seven-month-old baby when a fan asked her for advice on Monday.

When one of her 223 million followers said she was struggling to get her own baby to sleep anywhere but her arms, Kardashian shared that she was having the same experience with her newborn.

The Kardashians star, who welcomed her first child with husband Travis Barker, 48, in November 2023 and previously sparked a huge debate when she revealed her firstborn son Mason Disick, now 14, slept in her bed as a baby, responded: ‘Enjoy every second! We do the same.

‘He’s never been in his crib,’ she admitted. ‘It’s my favorite thing In the world!’

Back in July 2010, Kardashian admitted it was a controversial decision but she would let her and ex Scott Disick’s then-six-month-old son Mason sleep with her in their bed.

The former couple also share daughter Penelope, 11, and son Reign, nine.

‘Some say it’s not the best idea for the baby, but to be honest, much like breastfeeding, I find it to be an amazing bonding experience for mother and son and I wouldn’t have it any other way,’ she wrote on her blog at the time.

The practice of co-sleeping is controversial since it is ᴀssociated with higher instances of sudden infant death syndrome, commonly known as cot death, along with the risk of crushing or rolling onto the baby.

However, many mothers including Kardashian, argued it helps them bond with their child and calms the baby.

When she welcomed her first child, she said that she considered all the risks and took steps to reduce them by removing pillows and cushions from her bed.

‘I have to be honest,’ she wrote about sleeping with her baby in her bed.

‘I just love that time. I especially love how when you sleep with your baby, you breathe together on the same pattern. I’ve been able to bond with Mason so much more,’ she continued.

‘Even if I’ve had a busy day, I always look forward to every night and us spending time together when we sleep,’ she added.

The reality star previously suffered five ‘failed IVF cycles’ before giving birth to her fourth child, her first with the Blink-182 drummer, seven months ago.

She also opened up about her IVF struggles during the Monday Q&A session with her followers.

‘I stopped after a year of trying,’ she explained, which she said included ‘5 failed IVF cycles, 3 retrievals.’

‘My body relaxed and I believed in God’s plan for my life,’ she continued. ‘Lots of prayers for whatever was meant to be for us.

‘Also lots of optimizing my health,’ she added. ‘I know how hard it is to feel like you’re not trying, but believing in God’s plan and saying your prayers is so powerful.’

The Poosh founder also previously had to undergo emergency fetal surgery prior to giving birth to her youngest child in 2023.

Kardashian wrote on Instagram at the time about the scary experience at the time and also opened up about the ‘terrifying’ surgery during The Kardashians season five premiere last week.
