KOURTNEY Kardashian has been slammed by critics for a hypocritical post while giving advice on how to be a morning person.
The Kardashians star took to her Instagram Stories on Thursday to share a new link to a Poosh article.
The article, тιтled: “How to Become a Morning Person,” offers readers tips on how to adjust their schedules and what habits they can adopt in order to switch up their routines.
To go along with the link, Kourtney, 44, uploaded a pH๏τo that gave an aerial view of someone laying in bed with a food tray placed on their lap.
On the tray were what appeared to be two matcha lattes, a small cup of espresso, napkins, and two small spoons.
The pH๏τo had a luxurious feel to it – as if Kourtney (or whoever took the pH๏τo) had ordered room service or had the drinks sent directly to them while still in bed.
She also included a time stamp of 11.05am on the pH๏τo, which caused a stir among some fans.
TONE DEAF?
One follower took a screensH๏τ of Kourtney’s post and shared it on Reddit, while others questioned her motive.
“Its 1105 AM and you clearly still in bed being served tea. Try: how to become an early afternoon person with ᴀssistance,” the originator wrote, continuing to ask: “Or am I missing something?”
“They definitely have a target audience and it’s not poor ppl. Most working ppl are staring at the clock waiting for lunch break at 11am,” one person replied.
A second wrote: “She wants to feel relatable but she missed the mark completely.”
“This is weird. A morning person at 11 in the morning? This women wouldn’t survive waking up in the actual morning, before the sun rises. What a joke she is,” a third slammed.
“Omg so out of touch i cant,” a fourth wrote.
“She’s just WAY too punk to get up in the morning LOL,” a fifth joked, giving an ode to her marriage to Blink-182 drummer Travis Barker.
While many critics bashed Kourtney for the upload, others saw it as a satirical post.
“I read it as a joke,” one person wrote, with another replying: “Exactly, ppl take her poosh posts way too serious. Her personality has always been a goofy.”
“Same! I don’t think she’s so out of touch that 11:05 is ‘morning person’ to her. It feels like she’s making fun of herself, but due to the nature of this family and their reputation, it falls flat for many,” wrote another.
Others also defended the fact that Kourtney is currently pregnant, with one admitting they’d “cut her some slack” because of it.
Another asked: “Are you forgetting that she’s pregnant?”
BABY COUNTDOWN
In mid-June, Kourtney announced that she was pregnant with her husband Travis Barker’s first baby while in the crowd of his concert in Los Angeles.
The Lemme founder has been sharing her pregnancy journey on social media, most recently taking to Instagram with a selection of sH๏τs from a beach getaway alongside her husband.
One pH๏τo showed Kourtney snapping her side profile in the reflection of a pane of glᴀss while wearing a tight long-sleeve tee paired with tiny shorts.
The Hulu star’s shorts cut off inches higher than her thigh, showing off the entirety of her legs and a glimpse of her ʙuтт.
She followed up with an image of herself and Travis, 47, sitting on the furniture, focusing on their legs as they sat close together on one chair.
Although Kourtney only publicly announced her pregnancy two months ago, fans now think that her due date might be earlier than expected.
Judging by the size of her bump, fans theorized that she might be seven months pregnant.
One fan wrote: “I’m guessing she looks about seven months along right now and due in the last half of September.”
Another fan suggested: “I think the end of September and beginning of November as the due date.”
A commentator chimed in: “She’s gotta be at least six months. That’s quite the bump.”
However, some fans believe she has secretly given birth to her baby boy already.
On a popular Kardashian internet forum, one person pointed out: “Maybe she kept the birth private and she hopefully finally had the baby + they’re enjoying the new baby before announcing details!”
