Margot Robbie smiles from ear to ear as she leaves a New York City H๏τel… after sharing that she is not making an ‘obvious’ Barbie movie

Margot Robbie looked chic while stepping onto the streets of New York City on Wednesday.

The 32-year-old actress donned a baggy black, pinstripe blazer over a small white top and a pair of high waisted jeans. She walked in maroon high heels, and her brown hair was parted in the middle and flowed in the wind behind her.

This comes after she talked to Vanity Fair about her Barbie movie with Ryan Gosling.

So stylish: Margot Robbie looked chic while stepping onto the streets of New York City on Wednesday

The Wolf of Wall Street star slung a green leather handbag over her right shoulder, and she flashed a brilliant white smile.

She added a thick gold necklace to her ensemble.

The high-cut ensemble showed off her toned thighs and she accentuated her tiny waist with a chunky leather belt.

The stunner also took part in wide ranging interview with Vanity Fair as she promoted her new  all-star ensemble movie Babylon with Brad Pitt.

As far as Barbie she said, ‘Making an obvious Barbie movie would’ve been extremely easy to do and anything easy to do is probably not worth doing.’

And she really did produce it. Often actors get producer credit for nothing, but she earned it.

‘Yeah, that pissed me off. It’s so annoying because I have to fight every time,’ she said of making people understand she really produces the films she makes.

Barbie comes out July 21, 2023.

And she also discussed Babylon.

She said she loved playing Nellie LaRoy, who is based on Clara Bow, for the new film because she got to be free. ‘I don’t really have a whole lot of modesty left,’ Robbie joked. ‘I don’t feel embarrᴀssed when it’s Nellie doing something. I’d feel embarrᴀssed if it was me, but it’s all her.’

And she guessed Nellie had a dark background.

‘Whenever I’m trying to make a character, I have to figure out their childhood. I can justify anything they do later in life if I just figure that out,’ she shared.

Bow had a mentally ill mother and grew up in poverty. So she likely took to the escape of Hollywood.

‘She had probably the most horrific childhood I can imagine for anyone,’ she noted.

‘You can justify anything Nellie does and says in this movie if you imagine that she experienced something like that as a kid.’

And she found working on the movie joyful.

‘What you see onscreen is the chaos of making a movie and how f***ed it is, but also how it’s just the greatest thing ever,’ Robbie said.

‘And, literally, filming it was the exact same thing. Sh** was so unhinged and so fun and amazing and just absurd. It was definitely the best experience of my life.’
