Actress Megan Fox has confirmed that her engagement to Machine Gun Kelly is now off.
The 37-year-old had fans speculating for months over the state of her relationship with the rock singer. But it looks like the pair have hit a bump in the road.
Megan, who has starred in popular films Jennifer’s Body and the Transformers franchise gave fans insight into their romance when she chatted with Alex Cooper on the Call Her Daddy podcast. In recent months, the couple shared that Megan had suffered a miscarriage.
There were also rumours circulating that they had broken up after Megan cleaned up her social media, stopped following her ex-fiancé and deleted their snaps together. But Megan appeared to hint that while their engagement was off, they might still be an item.
Although the brunette bombshell agreed that the end of their engagement was “accurate,” she made it clear that they were still in contact. She said: “What I can say is, that is what I refer to as being my ‘twin soul,’ and there will always be a tether to him no matter what.
“I can’t say what the capacity will be, but I will always be connected to him somehow. Beyond that, I’m not willing to explain.”
The star also agreed that she could see how fans would be confused by her relationship status. She continued: “I could see them being confusing or interesting to people, and them being like, ‘What’s up? ‘.
“What I’ve learned from being in this relationship is that it’s not for public consumption. So I think as of now, I don’t have a comment on the status of the relationship per se.”
When the Hollywood couple first hit a rough patch, fans quickly thought MGK might have cheated, especially when she posted lyrics from Beyonce’s Lemonade album, which talks about Jay Z’s infidelity. However, Megan was quick to dismiss the rumours about her other half having an affair with Sophie Lloyd.
Not long after on Instagram, Megan made it clear that their relationship issues were their business only. She told fans: “There has been no third party interference in this relationship of any kind. That includes, but is not limited to…actual humans, DMs, AI bots or succubus demons.”
