Megan Fox fans slam ‘uncomfortable’ trailer for new sci-fi epic Subservience

Megan Fox is set to star in a role that’s quite literally out of this world in her latest film, Subservience. The trailer, which dropped on Thursday, showcases Fox as an “artificially intelligent android” in the provocative sci-fi thriller.

The 38 year old actress portrays Alice, an advanced AI android designed to seamlessly integrate into any family or household.

Subservience promises to deliver its fair share of risque moments, with scenes of the android disrobing and attempting to charm the family patriarch she’s programmed to ᴀssist. The new trailer has sparked a flurry of reactions from fans on Reddit, where the consensus seems less than enthusiastic.

One viewer commented: “To be honest this looks like a bore. The set up is so bizarre and uncomfortable in the first place there’s no room for tension to build. It’s different when the doll/robot is a kid,” reports the Mirror.

Another added their two cents, saying: “Is it me or is this trailer quality doggy doo doo? This feels like a hard B movie and I don’t think Megan Fox seems scary at all.”

A frustrated fan remarked: “Could have just stopped this trailer right at 48 seconds and it would have been a perfectly serviceable trailer. but unfortunately, we have to show the entire movie in the trailers now.”

And yet another critic shared their view: “The story seems oddly familiar, as if I’ve seen it before a hundred times.” One person critiqued, “After seeing the trailer, I have a feeling I know EXACTLY how the whole movie plays out and I don’t need to see it.”

On a brighter note, an enthusiastic viewer remarked: “Jennifer’s Body is an all time great movie. I will check this one out, regardless of how Megan Fox’s career has turned out.”

The film’s cast includes not only Megan Fox but also 365 Days sensation Michele Morrone, Madeline Zima, Matilda Lutz, and Andrew Whipp.

Taking the helm as director is S. K. Dale, with XYZ Films, Millennium Media, and Grobman Campbell Films backing the project jointly.
