Megan Fox Is A Dangerous Crime Boss In Johnny & Clyde Clip [EXCLUSIVE]

Screen Rant is pleased to present an exclusive clip from the upcoming crime thriller, Johnny & Clyde. With this genre-bending film based on the real Bonnie & Clyde, filmmaker Tom DeNucci and his co-writer Nick Principe set out to catch their audience off balance with elements of action, comedy, and horror. The film stars Megan Fox (Transformers), Avan Jogia (Zombieland: Double Tap), Ajani Russell, Tyson Ritter (Preacher), and Bai Ling. Johnny & Clyde will be released in theaters and On Demand on May 5.

Serial killers Johnny & Clyde are madly in love and set on finally wrapping up a seemingly endless crime spree when they hear about an irresistible opportunity for one last score. With the help of The Butcher (Principe), The Baker (Charles W. Harris III), and The Candlestick Maker (Robert LeSardo), the duo are after what they believe to be a poorly secured depository from a small casino. Little do they know the crime boss who runs the place, Alana Hart (Fox), has enlisted the help of a very unusual guard: Bawkas, a demonic warrior straight from the depths of hell.

What To Expect From Johnny & Clyde

In this exclusive clip from Johnny & Clyde presented by Screen Rant, the audience is introduced to crime boss Alana Hart and Randall Lock (Armen Garo). Lock is there to inform Hart of the impending threat to her ᴀssets, and ask a favor. Because Lock’s daughter was one of the serial killing duo’s victims, and he’s intent on revenge. All he wants from Hart is a first crack at Johnny & Clyde, something Hart is more than happy to give him.

The trailer for Johnny & Clyde gives a tease of the wild ride the film takes the audience on. The duo are clearly ruthless killers who enjoy the life they lead. Crime boss Alana Hart describes their story as romantic, “two lunatics on a cross-country kill tour.” When they hear about the hidden vault that deals with off-the-books money at Hart’s casino, they recruit some help in their attempt to steal the cash that they’re sure will set them up for life. They’re sure they have a foolproof plan, and the right team to accomplish their goal, but are unaware of just what is guarding the loot.

Johnny & Clyde joins an exciting slate of films released by Screen Media in 2023. The Locksmith starring Ryan Phillipe and Kate Bosworth released in February and told the story of an expert locksmith who fell right back into a life of crime upon release from prison. March saw the release of The Ritual Killer starring Morgan Freeman and Cole Hauser in a film about the search for a globe-trotting serial killer who uses brutal ritualistic practices in his crimes.
