Megan Fox & MGK Have ‘Stalled’ Their Wedding Plans for This Concerning Reason, Says Insider

Few celebrity relationships have been as wild as that of Megan Fox and Machine Gun Kelly (MGK, born Richard Colson Baker). Their romance, which began on the set of the film Midnight in the Switchgrᴀss back in 2020, was nothing short of a fiery spectacle right from the get-go, especially given that Fox was still with her now ex-husband Brian Austin Green. The duo seemed to revel in public displays of affection, giving fans and the paparazzi plenty to talk about.

When MGK proposed to Fox in January 2022, they celebrated their engagement in a way only MGK and Fox could – by drinking each other’s blood. But just over a year later, in February 2023, Fox hinted at a potential breakup via a cryptic Instagram post, subsequently deleting her account. This sparked a flurry of separation rumors, especially as she began making solo appearances at major events.

The couple is reportedly working things out, although it seems they’re not quite in the same full-throttle mode as they were during the early days of their “twin flame” courtship.

A source close to the couple told Us Weekly, “MGK and Megan were [both] in wedding planning mode when they first got together, but things have stalled”. Instead of rushing headlong into wedding preparations (which, let’s face it, could involve anything from a traditional ceremony to a vampire-themed extravaganza), the couple is choosing to slow down and focus on strengthening their relationship. The source added that “no wedding date has been chosen and they aren’t actively looking at venues anymore.”

Planning a wedding can be an incredibly stressful undertaking, even for the coolest and most collected couples. And given that both Fox and MGK are described as “very H๏τ-tempered,” this step back could help them avoid any potential triggers that might lead to further rifts.

Despite the rollercoaster of emotions they’ve experienced this year, the insider notes that Fox and MGK are “still very much together” and “focusing on their relationship and feeling solid before planning another wedding.” They may not have set a wedding date or be actively scouting for venues, but that doesn’t mean their love story has reached its final chapter.
