Megan Fox’s New Sci-Fi Horror ‘Subservience’ Puts A Thrilling Spin On The Trad Wife Trend

Step aside M3GAN! Megan Fox will soon be playing a killer android in the upcoming sci-fi thriller Subservience.

XYZ Films dropped a surprise trailer of Fox’s new movie on Wednesday (July 31), teasing what will surely be an exciting adventure for the movie star. It’s a welcome return to the genre since her successful performance as a demon-possessed cheerleader in the cult classic Jennifer’s Body.

Subservience stars Fox as Alice, one of “the most sophisticated AI on the planet,” who gets discovered by a father and his young daughter at a tech convention. Nick, played by 365 Days star Michele Morrone, decides to bring Alice home to help around the house as his wife recovers from what appears to be a debilitating illness.

At home, Alice quickly sets her sights on Nick. The Subservience trailer shows Alice seducing him and trying to break up his marriage, teasing at some steamy action between Fox and Morrone. But the film takes a dark turn when Nick’s wife (Heroes actress Madeline Zima) returns home to find herself sharing her loving husband with a robot.

And it looks like Fox’s Alice is not alone. The trailer appears to tease at a possible robot uprising from an army of AI bots similar to Alice.

Morrone is a fitting co-star for Fox; the handsome Italian actor became an international star after appearing in the erotic 365 Days franchise on Netflix. In Subservience, the actor will go hand-to-hand against Fox, who turns out to be just as overpowered as she is beautiful.
