Subservience is the sci-fi thriller that sees Megan Fox play a seductive killer AI robot

Megan Fox is back on our screens in new movie Subservience, as an AI robot who wants to seduce (and potentially kill) her owner. We are officially seated for this.

Aside from the fact we are totally here for Megan playing a robot in what looks to be a bit of a thriller – or even horror – situation, we can’t deny seeing stories of artificial intelligence on screen is intriguing. It’s something that feels both futuristic and very current all at the same time – since AI is already affecting our day-to-day lives, from dating to our social media algorithms.

In Subservience, Megan plays a character that highlights the darker side of AI technology – here’s everything we know about her latest film.

Subservience plot
The plot synopsis for Subservience reads as follows: “When his wife becomes sick, a struggling father buys a lifelike AI android named Alice to help with the housework. Things seem fine until Alice suddenly becomes self-aware and wants everything its new family has to offer, including the affection of its owner. And she’ll kill to get it.”

Director SK Dale has promised that we will see another side to Megan and her talents in Subservience.

“This film will show a side of Megan that we have never seen before. The cast that we are ᴀssembling will elevate this emotionally-charged story and I cannot wait to show you all what we have in store,” he said.
