Travis Barker was spotted looking tense in Los Angeles, after returning home from tour when his pregnant wife Kourtney Kardashian went into hospital.
The drummer, 47, had been on tour with his band Blink-182 and they were due to perform in the UK last week. However, it was announced last Friday that the two concerts, and two additional shows this week, had been postponed.
It was revealed that Travis had returned to the US due to a “an urgent family matter,” with it believed that it related to his pregnant wife Kourtney, 44. The couple were seen leaving a hospital together in Los Angeles on Saturday.
Travis – who’s been married to Kourtney since last year – seems to have remained at home this week, ahead of potentially rejoining his bandmates on their world tour, which is due to resume later this week in Belgium on Friday.
He was spotted looking quite tense while out in Los Angeles on Tuesday. The musician was seen out in the city wearing a white T-shirt that featured artwork for the film A Clockwork Orange (1971), a pair of khaki trousers and a navy beanie hat.
His return to the US towards the end of last week was announced by Blink-182 in a post on social media. They issued a statement shortly before they had been due to perform at the OVO Hydro in Glasgow on Friday evening.
The band announced: “Due to an urgent family matter, Travis has had to return home to the States. The Glasgow, Belfast, and Dublin shows are being postponed. More information in regards to his return to Europe and rescheduled dates will be provided as soon as available.”
No further information was provided about the “urgent” matter, though it’s believed to have been about Kourtney. She was later seen leaving hospital alongside her husband Travis on Saturday, following his return to the US.
The couple have not commented on the situation since then. Travis however posted a pH๏τo of a prayer room in Glasgow Airport – seemingly on his way home – on social media shortly before his band’s announcement.
And according to People magazine on Monday, a source has said that Kourtney is now “back home” following the visit to hospital. The source told the outlet: “She is feeling better. She is happy to have Travis back home too.”
