Vanessa Marcil says Megan Fox apologized to her for past drama with Brian Austin Green: ‘She has taken responsibility for her actions’

Vanessa Marcil has said that Megan Fox apologized for her role in their family drama during her marriage to Brian Austin Green — Marcil’s ex, with whom she shares 22-year-old son Kᴀssius.

It comes after Marcil, 55, previously claimed that the actress, 38, and actor, 50, cut Kᴀssius out of their lives.

A social media user commented that Fox ‘never defends’ Marcil, 55, calling her a ‘catalyst in your son’s broken relationship with his father,’ prompting the former soap star to come to her defense.

‘Not true babe. @meganfox was 17 when she was groomed and still has taken responsibility for her actions,’ she began.

The lengthy reply continued: ‘She has apologized to both me and our child. She stated she is ‘disgusted’ by her behavior. However, it wasn’t her job to keep a grown man/biological parent in his son’s life. That’s on him.’

Then, Vanessa addressed Brian’s fiancé Sharna Burgess.

‘It’s true as you said that it’s painful to watch #sharnaburgess try to gaslight her followers, however I do feel for her too.

‘Only difference is that she’s not a child like Megan was. She’s being conned and would have to give up her whole ‘fairy tale’ in order to stand up for the truth at this point.’

Megan and Brian share sons Noah, 11, Bodhi, 10, and Journey, 7. Brian welcomed a son, Zane, two in June, with Burgess, 38, in 2022.

Marcil added to her claims about the professional ballroom dancer, ‘But trust me, in her gut, she knows that she’s being lied to. I feel for her and her beautiful son. We [don’t] really matter anymore. The kids do. One day we will all be gone and these siblings will all be together.’

About Zane, she noted, ‘My son is the oldest and he knows the real truth. He will protect them. Their safety and peace are all he cares about. The truth will always prevail in the end.

‘It’s good to be on the right side of history and to know I gave up everything to protect my son and stand up to the truth.’

To end the accusatory rant, Vanessa signed off with, ‘#ImWithYouSister I stand with all women first and always.’

In a caption accompanying screensH๏τs of the comments section conversation, Vanessa said, ‘There is a difference between court documented facts and gaslighting. The safety of children must matter more to us than our image.’

Green claimed on a September 2023 episode of his podcast Old-ish that ex-girlfriend Vanessa kept their son away from him at one point.

He revealed that co-parenting Kᴀssius with Marcil was ‘difficult from the beginning’ as Brian struggled with vertigo for years.

Green’s new partner Sharna, who co-hosts the podcast, also spoke on their strained dynamic.

‘Those years that he wasn’t able to go see Kᴀssius, Vanessa made no effort to make sure Brian got time with him,’ Burgess shared.

The Dancing With The Stars alum added, ‘Instead, she painted him as an absent father who chose not to be around for him. And I’m sure that information was fed to Kᴀss, and I can’t imagine how damaging that was for him.’

Brian piggybacked, ‘…To find out after the fact that at the point when I started getting better, that she then was painting it that I had abandoned Kᴀss during that time, when the reality was I was dealing with such brain fog in what I was going through.’

Also last year, Marcil stated online that she raised Kᴀssius by herself.

In February 2023 the actress answered a fan’s inquiry about whether co-parenting has been difficult.

Taking to her Instagram Stories she replied, ‘We didn’t and don’t co-parent. I raised my son alone.’
