Victoria’s Secret goes woke! Adriana Lima, Candice Swanepoel, Lily Aldridge and Taylor Hill hit the pink carpet

Victoria’s Secret is back – but not as you know it.

The fashion giant has had a huge shake-up after a four years off the runway to build a more inclusive and diverse image after they phased out their iconic ‘Angels’ in 2021 following two-decades of recruiting the world’s top models to hit the catwalk.

And former angels Adriana Lima, Candice Swanepoel, Lily Aldridge and Taylor Hill arrived for the brand’s event in New York on Thursday to celebrate the woke show relaunch and Amazon Prime show Victoria’s Secret The Tour 2023, set for release on September 26th.

In the four years since the last fashion show, the brand has expanded their size range, designed bras for breastfeeding and mastectomies and created the VS Collective – including actress Priyanka Chopra, Olympian Eileen Gu and model Paloma Elsesser – a group of ‘accomplished women to drive positive change’.

The ‘reimagined’ feature-length behind-the-scenes show focuses on ’emerging global trailblazers’ instead of strictly lingerie-clad vixens.

A host of famous models will still feature; including Gigi Hadid, Hailey Bieber, Lila Moss and Naomi Campbell, with Doja Cat joining musical acts as the catwalk show is then broadcast live.

Lima, 42 — who joined the ranks back in 2000 and was once considered the ‘most valuable’ Angel — glittered in a busty gold dress as she posed for pH๏τographers at Thursday’s event.

The form-fitting dress accentuated her hourglᴀss frame while her black mesh kitten heels gave her statuesque frame a small boost.

Her hair was worn sleek and straight and she opted for her signature brown smokey eyeshadow look that makes her ice blue eyes pop.

Lima was just 17 when she walked her first show for Victoria’s Secret in 1999. She inked a contract the following year at age 18.

The runway maven stayed on until 2018 — making her the longest-running Angel in the brand’s history.

She walked a whopping 18 Victoria’s Secret fashion shows and opened the show five times.

Candice Swanepoel put on a very leggy display as she strolled the pink carpet in a black corseted mini-dress.

The unique number cinched in her already svelte waist and featured gorgeous gold floral appliques along the hem and bust.

The South African stunner’s golden tresses were worn back in a bun and her skin had a healthy, sun-kissed glow.

She completed her look with kitten heels and an ᴀssortment of dainty gold rings for a touch of sparkle.

Swanepoel was a fan-favorite Angel that signed with Victoria’s Secret back in 2010 at the age of 22.

She last walked the runway for VS four years ago in December 2018.

Lily Aldridge — who was once apart of Taylor Swift’s famous ‘model squad’ — looked ultra chic in a long-line black tuxedo jacket.

She wore the dapper jacket over a Sєxy black bra and tapered trousers.

The British beauty slipped on a pair of classic black stilettos and rocked a red lip for a pop of bold color.

Like Swanepoel, Aldridge was signed on as a Victoria’s Secret Angel in 2010 after walking her first-ever runway show for the brand the year prior.

Taylor Hill followed in Aldridge’s footsteps by also opting to layer her bra under a chic tuxedo jacket for the night.

The blue-eyed beauty showed a lot of leg by styling her outerwear with H๏τ pants and sheer black tights.

Her brunette hair was worn in a stylish pixie cut and she opted for ballet flats instead of heels.

Hill walked her first Victoria’s Secret catwalk show in 2014 and became an Angel the following year until 2018.

Gigi Hadid caught the eye in a curve-clinging bright yellow dress that was worn with black patent leather heels and shiny gold jewelry.

Her blonde hair was worn down and slicked back off her face to show off her impeccable makeup.

Hadid officially earned her Angel wings in 2016 after walking for the brand the previous year.

At the time, she said it was ‘one of the happiest moments of [her] life.’

Grace Elizabeth, 26, is among the newest VS recruits as she officially nabbed an Angel contract in 2019. This year marks her first runway show.

The model flaunted her slender frame by gracing the pink carpet in only a bra and pants.

Winnie Harlow also became an Angel in 2018 after earning global fame as a contestant on America’s Next Top Model.

For Wednesday’s celebration, the stunner left little to the imagination in a shimmering gold net coord.

She protected her modesty with a pair of ɴuᴅᴇ pasties and a tiny black thong.
